Dubai Transport

It provides the finest transport in the whole of Dubai. Initially, the company started with only 81 taxis but now has acquired more than 3,000 taxis to its fleet. It has over 4,000 dedicated staff members.

Dubai Transport prides itself on the only one of its kind satellite- controlled Global Positioning System (GPS) which enables the control room to pinpoint the location of each and every taxi, its speed, the meter reading, etc.

It aims to provide accuracy and completeness of service. Comfort, personal satisfaction and safety remain in the forefront of its priorities. Striving to provide the best, it has specially designed vans for disabled persons and special family vans. Taxis operate 24 hours a day.

DTC operates more than 200 buses providing inter- emirates transportation services from its two main stations in Deira and Bur Dubai to various locations across the UAE. The limousine service from DTC is part of the efforts undertaken by the corporation to provide a comprehensive transport service to the public.
