Jebel Ali Sailing Club is a unique club which was founded in 1977 by a small group of sailing enthusiasts. It is located in Mina Seyahi on land granted by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The sprawling club provides sailing facilities and other associated services within the Jebel Ali area. The Club is open for Members, their families and their guests only, except on special occasions such as regattas when the Committee can determine who is to be admitted.
A member may invite two adult guests only, who must be signed for in the visitor's register and the guest fee paid for by the sponsoring member. A guest who is resident in Dubai will only be admitted to the Club once per month.
The Club has an extensive area of land at the front and side to store boats. It has tried as far as is possible to keep this area divided into catamarans, mono hulls and two man areas.
Sailing: Stage 1, 2 and 3 for ages 6 - 14. Courses are taught in Optimists, Toppers and as a group in Sport 16's.
Level 1, 2 & 3 for 14 +. Courses are taught in Toppers, Lasers and Sport 16's.
