In 1988, Emirates Golf Club became the first championship all- grass golf course in the Gulf region. The Clubhouse is very attractive and resembles Bedouin tents.
His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's still inspires awe amongst all who play its verdant green golf courses, as well as those who simply visit its unique and ageless clubhouse.
The Club features two championship golf courses, extensive recreational facilities and fine dining. A French restaurant, coffee shop, bars and a VIP lounge, all exist, to provide you with all possible comfort. If you are not ready for the challenging golf courses, you can take lessons from PGA professionals or enroll in the Emirates Academy of Golf.
The Majlis Course and The Wadi Course are 18- hole championship courses with a par 72. There is a dress code comprising of collared shirts and golfing shorts.
For visitors there is a rule of "pay as you play". In addition, it offers a floodlit driving range, outdoor swimming pool, tennis and squash courts.
