Dubai Rugby Mums

This is a non- profit organization trying to raise funds for the promotion of schoolboys' rugby in Dubai. Its committee and membership is made up of parents supporting their sons to play more rugby in the area.

In order to promote the game of Rugby and to help boys and girls master their skills of learning the game, a club has been formed by the Mothers of young rugby aspirants in Dubai. Over 750 strong membership is made up of expatriate parents (both mother and father) supporting their children play more and better rugby.

They also have an increasing youth membership of over 650 aged 12- 17.

The organization aims to promote the playing of the game at a high standard for the boys by encouraging visiting teams; helping with hosting; tour fundraising; and liaising with local, national and international schools, clubs and teams and also with the Arabian Gulf RFU who supports them.

Future events include fundraising Family Socials, coffee mornings, raffles, a Sponsored 'Horizontal' Mountain Climbing Challenge at Ibn Battuta Mall on Sept. 30 and a fund raising Christmas Ball on Dec. 15, 2005.
