Dubai Summer Surprises

Dubai Summer Surprises is an annual event launched in 1998 by the Government of Dubai to promote the city as a family tourist destination. This festival runs from the end of June to the beginning of September.

Dubai's 38 air- conditioned shopping malls host a plethora of shows and events designed to entertain and amaze children of all ages. Various road shows are deployed in order to attract more spectators. Hotels surprise guests with plenty of great deals during the summer.

Dubai Summer Surprises is a remarkable event which encourages visitors to shop, save and celebrate during ten weeks of entertainment. The malls offer their customers unbelievable reductions across a wide range of goods. The magical attraction is irresistible and over seven million shoppers flex their credit cards at this event.

A variety of live shows, activities, competitions and courses keep the whole family happy. Kids just love various activities held during these months.

The 2006 event was divided into separate themes - Food Surprises, Ice Surprises, Arts Surprises, Nature Surprises and Adventure Surprises. The list consists of infinite number of surprises.
