Dubai Marathon

If you claim to be fit and in shape, try running through the breathtaking city of Dubai in the 10K marathon or 3K charity race. The start and finish points of the race are at the Dubai World Trade Center. The race route is a very adventurous one and takes the runners through the Shindagha Tunnel and alongside the Dubai Creek.

No need to worry, caterers will be handing out refreshments before and after the race. Spectators can enjoy live bands and DJ's for an uplifting atmosphere. One of the most influential figures in world athletics has given the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon a massive boost claiming the event to be among 'the top ten events of its kind in the world.'

The 3K Fun Run is a charity race with all proceeds supporting "Seeing is Believing," an organization dedicated to finding a cure for the blind.

During the day of this remarkable event, Dubai's famous streets and highways are turned into the Middle East's biggest running track. The whole city seems to be in a festive mood as the race gets underway.
