Plaza cinema started in Dubai as the largest cinema house in 1972 with a seating capacity of over 1600.
Later on, it was renovated and reopened in 1997 with latest equipments incorporating modern technology such as Dolby Digital, DTS sound system, surrounding speakers, and Hi- tech computerized projectors.

Plaza is the first movie house to provide internet based online ticket booking facilities for the convenience of film loving people from anywhere in the UAE. It brings the best in International cinema to Dubai.

Now, Plaza is one of the leading cinema houses in the UAE with thousands of regular film viewers. Certain rules of conduct are to be followed in the cinema house. Camera and Video camera are not allowed inside the auditorium. Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the hall. Use of laser lights strictly prohibited.
Switch off mobile phones inside the hall while watching the movie. Bringing in food and beverages from outside is frowned upon.
