Al Safa Park

Have a relaxed day out amidst lakes and waterfalls at the Al Safa park. It opened its doors to the public in 1975. It has a sprawling 64 hectares area of sylvan surroundings. The water bodies are soothing to the eye and take you away from the grind of your daily routine.

From 1989 to 1992, the park has undergone the second phase of development, which cost 45 million Dirhams, covering the institution of several modern- recreational and service facilities. Al Safa Park is a fun zone for children. They can run wild and frolic to their heart's content.

A number of recreational activities are provided which include bumper cars, paddle boats, jogging tracks, tennis courts, volleyball, football and basketball. Kids will never want to go back home.

This is not only the kids' zone, but a total family destination. There are 21 barbecue sites, so families can have a complete entertainment package. An attractive feature of the place is the ‘traffic village' for children. It has the objective of teaching children the traffic rules as it consists of running battery cars on roads having traffic signs, stop lights and pedestrian line.
