Dubai can be seen as the crown jewel of tourism in the United Arab Emirates. Though there are many companies offering rental cars, and there is significant infrastructure that makes car parking in Dubai painless it is still recommended that visitors do not drive themselves if at all possible. Dubai streets often times do not use logical naming conventions and numerical order is not strictly enforced. Further Dubai drivers are known to be great risk takers, particularly during rush hour, making the roads unsafe for pedestrians and drivers unaccustomed to do by traffic. Luckily for the traveler Dubai has an excellent bus and taxi system. Taxis are relatively cheap, and buses run relatively quickly. It is also possible to car hire in Dubai, specifically at the rental car companies where you'll often find packages that include a car and driver.
